High-purity nitrogen (N₂) gas supplied from China for industrial processing, electronics manufacturing, and food preservation.

Nitrogen is a colorless, odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic inert gas. As the most abundant gas in the Earth’s atmosphere, it is slightly soluble in water, alcohol, and ether. In its normal state, nitrogen is chemically inactive and does not easily react with other substances. It is non-flammable and a poor conductor of heat and electricity. While generally inert, it can combine with particularly reactive metals such as lithium and magnesium to form nitrides, and with hydrogen, oxygen, and other elements at high temperatures. Nitrogen serves as a versatile industrial gas, widely used for inerting and blanketing to prevent oxidation, as a purge gas in chemical processing, in electronics manufacturing as a carrier and purge gas, for cryogenic freezing and cooling in food processing, and for modified atmosphere packaging to extend food shelf life. It is typically transported as a liquefied compressed gas or in high-pressure cylinders.

Nitrogen (UN 1066) is classified as a non-flammable compressed gas and must be handled under strict hazardous materials regulations.

Nitrogen is a colorless, odorless, tasteless, non-toxic inert gas, slightly soluble in water, alcohol and ether. The chemical properties of nitrogen are not active, and it is very inert in its normal state. It is not easy to react with other substances. Nitrogen is not flammable. It combines with some particularly reactive metals, such as lithium and magnesium, to form nitrides. It also combines with hydrogen, oxygen and other elements at high temperatures. Slightly soluble in water and most other liquids, it is a poor conductor of heat and electricity.
