High-purity carbon monoxide (CO) gas supplied from China for chemical synthesis, metal processing, and electronics manufacturing.

Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas under standard conditions. As a compound of carbon and oxygen, it exhibits both reducing and oxidizing properties, capable of oxidation (combustion) and disproportionation reactions. It is poorly soluble in water and difficult to liquefy and solidify. Carbon monoxide serves as a critical raw material for producing methanol (CH₃OH), phosgene, and various organic chemicals. It is also widely used in metal refining, as a reducing agent in metallurgical processes, and in high-purity form for semiconductor manufacturing and analytical calibration, typically transported as a liquefied compressed gas.

Carbon monoxide (UN 1016) is classified as a flammable and toxic compressed gas and must be handled under strict hazardous materials regulations.

  • Sea freight (FCL / LCL) – standard export method
  • Air freight – limited availability (regulatory controlled)
  • Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
  • Certificate of Analysis (COA)
  • Dangerous Goods Declaration (DGD)
  • UN-certified cylinder documentation
  • Commercial invoice & packing list
  • Send technical requirements (purity, pressure, application)
  • Receive quotation (EXW / FOB / CIF options)
  • Confirm cylinder specification & compliance
  • Review COA, MSDS, and certification documents
  • Production, filling, and quality inspection
  • Hazardous goods shipping arrangement
  • Delivery and final inspection at destination
  • Choosing suppliers only based on lowest price
  • Ignoring cylinder certification and pressure rating
  • Not verifying moisture and impurity levels
  • Skipping third-party inspection before shipment
  • Overlooking export documentation compliance
  • Underestimating safety requirements for toxic gas handling
